Raku Hill City was once a vibrant, creative and cosy city full of incredible artists, small businesses and a wonderful community of people that supported one another. One day, news broke that CorpCon-Tech had moved their headquarters to Raku Hill City. Crinkle the Kitty, owner (now overlord) of the trillion dollar company then decided to put into action his master plan to take over all small businesses, replacing them with artificial machinery. On this day he unleashed his evil machines to wreak havoc in the city, terrorising the community and turning everything into soulless, achromatic steel. Crinkle dubbed this day as the Raku Hill Purge… RakuCon, a small independent convention started by Rebel the Raccoon and their friends, was running during this day and quickly became the safe haven of the city. It soon became the HQ for the Raku Resistance, and is one of the last remaining areas in the world that is safe from Crinkle and his machines. During this dark time the team at Raku still put on RakuCon for the people of Raku HQ, continuing the legacy of Raku Hill City and celebrating artists, small businesses and making sure everyone has fun, even if Crinkle will try and disrupt the convention as much as he can…
Rebel the Raccoon
They/Them
Rebel is strong, confident and never gives up! They're always Raku Ready! They love anime, cosplaying and video games. You can always catch them talking about their favourite games such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Nier! Before the Raku Hill Purge, they worked as a freelance artist and helped to organise small conventions in Raku Hill City! They’re the head organiser of RakuCon, which they started to help and celebrate artists, as well as make a stand against the evil CorpCon-Tech, led by their nemesis Crinkle the Kitty, who is hellbent on taking over Raku Hill City and replacing artists and small businesses with artificial machinery. RakuCon, now the HQ for the Raku Resistance, and safe haven for the people of Raku Hill City, is one of the last remaining areas that is safe from Crinkle and his machines.
Pipi the Penguin
They/He
Pipi is one of the team members at Raku, they may look cute but they’re also the strongest in all of Raku Hill City! They help fight against the machines of CorpCon-Tech and are the go to person for lifting heavy objects at RakuCon. He has his own energy drink brand, Big Pipi Energy. Sadly it was forcibly taken over by CorpCon-Tech during the Raku Hill Purge, joining their overwhelming world-wide takeover.
Mimi the Fox
She/Her
Mimi is charming, sneaky and cunning, known to be the ninja of the Raku Resistance. She uses her skills to sneak through enemy lines and gather the latest intel, greatly contributing to the resistance’s efforts. She is also one of the original members of RakuCon, contributing to scheduling the day and helping artists set up their stalls.
Rocky the Cat
They/Them
Rocky is the one who keeps Rebel in check with their crazy ideas. They’re organised, smart and love being productive. They are the main strategist of Raku Team and are the brains behind RakuCon and the Raku Resistance. They do everything they can to make each event a fun experience for the people of Raku HQ and keep the mischievous Crinkle the Kitty at bay. In their free time you can usually find them drawing and coding games. They’re known to always wear their CEO shirt that was given to them by Rebel as a gift for being an amazing member of Raku Team and the one who helps keep everything running smoothly. If it wasn’t for Rocky’s level-headedness, Raku Hill City may just be in total control by Crinkle the Kitty.
Aiko the Wolf
He/Him
Aiko is obsessed with all things AV, doing everything he can to help make sure everything sound-wise runs smoothly at each RakuCon. As with every other member of Raku Team, he goes above and beyond to make sure the event is a safe space for the people of Raku Hill City, helping to fight off any of Crinkle’s machinery that try and invade Raku HQ. He is a huge fan of metalcore music and used to be the lead vocalist in a band called Bring Me The Aiko.
Percy the Cat
He/Him
A certified yapper. Percy never stops yappin’ about his special interests. A member of the Raku Resistance and one of the original members of RakuCon, he loves turning up to resistance meetings, listening for a few minutes and then yappin’ about Five Nights at Freddy’s.
Bonbon the Bunny
She/They
Bonbon is a newer member of RakuCon and the Raku Resistance, fleeing to the HQ from the wrath of Crinkle the Kitty. They’re kind, heartwarming and soft-spoken. She’s the go to person for advice at the HQ; they do everything they can to be there for everyone and are known as the emotional support bunny.
Mocha the Sloth
She/Her
Mocha the sloth is one of the original founding members of RakuCon, now chief of staff of the Raku Resistance, she’s a pivotal member of keeping the machines at bay. Slow she may be, she’s incredibly smart and is able to come up with plans on the spot, working hand in hand with Rocky to come up with amazing strategies. In her downtime, you can usually catch her sitting back and napping, something she calls ‘slumpin’. She also loves a good Mocha.
Birb is another new member of the resistance and RakuCon, her research business was destroyed by Crinkle’s machines during the Raku Hill Purge. At RakuCon, she’s in charge of security, making sure Crinkle doesn’t interfere with the event, and her main role at the Raku Resistance is research. Currently she’s in the process of uncovering the full extent of Crinkle’s plans as well as collecting information of the old world and the shadows that loom…

Crinkle the Kitty is the overlord of CorpCon-Tech, a trillion dollar events company that organises every sort of event you can think of and makes them entirely organised and run by machines. Crinkle wants to turn every aspect of Raku Hill City into artificial machinery and is currently in an ongoing battle with Raku Team and the Raku Resistance, one of the last remaining organisations he has yet to take over and make his ultimate plan a reality. However, unknown to Crinkle, something looms in the shadows of the world…
